[LAPSED] Mis sold care plan for IPad bought as Currys/PC World Wandsworth

Complaint against Currys PC World

I bought an IPad in October 2014 and an amount of £4.50 has been coming out of my account TWICE a month ever since. I returned one IPad and exchanged it for another model and have continued to be charged for a care plan on a product I no longer had. I now see that others have encountered similar issues and have been mis-sold Care Plans they didn't want. I have spoken to PC World Customer Services today and they said that I should speak to my bank about a refund via the Direct Debit Indemnity Scheme as there was nothing they could do to help. I am hugely disappointed in Currys/PC World"s customer service and handling of this issue. Julie
