Complaint against Currys PC World

Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased a Laptop PC from Currys PC World very early in January this year. Being a very learned IT hardware and software support and repair person myself, I did not require any product support for my new laptop. However the sales person cajoled, persuaded and coaxed me into signing up for the support service on the advice that I could cancel the service before the first payment was due the following month. I explained that I did not need it now why wait till a month before cancelling it? Anyhow he gave the tel. number to call to cancel the subscription. However when I called in due course to cancel I was unable to get through. I tried on different days at different times without any success. In the passage of time and my hectic schedule I duly forgot. It was only when I happened to be going through my card statement that I noted the odd 8 pound charge occurring twice since March 2017 that I sort to find out what the charge was about so I googled the tel. no that appeared in the transaction detail. It was only then when I got the result that I remembered what this charge was about. My complaint is on two levels 1) I was more or less forced to take out this unnecessary insurance policy and 2) I was misled with the wrong tel. number to call and cancel said policy. How do I cancel this charge and get my money back? I look forward to your prompt response. Regards,

I was expecting a full refund and a stop to the monthly charge. I have been assured that the monthly charge will cease but a full refund will not be forth coming. I'm pleased that the charge will be stopped but I'm dissatisfied about the refund situation. However I'm going to have to accept and clic on the satisfied but even though I am not fully statisfied.
