[LAPSED] PRODUCT SUPPORT AG 3.50£ EVERY MONTH

Complaint against Currys PC World

Purchased a TV SAMSUNG on Currys in Tottenham Hale in September 2014 and noticed a £3.50 charge each month on the bank statement. We've been onto the bank thinking we can cancel the direct debit put its not listed and product support AG is coming out as a 'card payment' so can't do a easy cancel. I want this cancelled firstly because I don't even have the item anymore and secondly I did even ask for that. I want even the refund of all the months you deduct it. If not I will take further actions. Regards Saverio Prassede.

Hi Saverio, thanks for the post. can you advise of the Care Plan reference number shown on the receipt near the mandate reference about half way down, along with the make of the item and your postcode. I should then be able to trace this and look to assist. - Thanks Jay

Hi Jay, Thanks to come back to me so soon. So the TV is actually an LG , 42LF561V. Care plan reference 0857254825. At the time I remember that I specified I did not want any support. My address at that time was 74 Rectory Road , London N16 7SH. My new address is 74b Lynmouth Road, London N16 6XH. Can you please cancel it and advise regarding refund of the monthly instalments? The Care Plan has now been cancelled for you, as detailed in the t&c's provided with the receipt we can only refund the last payment if request can come within the cooling off period. As this is not the case I regret we're unable to offer any refund in this instance. - Jay

HI Jay, That is not really reasonable , because you guys take advantage of your customers. When I bought the TV I expressly said to your clerk that I did not want any plan,but he insist saying that "you might need on the first month, you never know.,maybe there is something faulty and you need help to assemble.."
