[RESPONDED] Product Support AG charges without asking

Complaint against Currys PC World

Having been asked by my accountant about what the Product Support AG costs were for we found that Currys PC World have been taking for this without my request, in fact I make a point of not taking it to avoid these issues but it has appeared. I would like to ask for a refund for the 16 months I have found I have been paying. Regards Doug

Hi Doug. I have located the agreement. This was purchased in August 2014 to protect your Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 laptop. The agreement is now cancelled and no further payments will be requested. No refund is available, as it has been cancelled after 14 days from purchase. This is detailed in the terms and conditions provided in store at the time of purchase. Thanks. Carrie.

You have sold incorrectly to me and have to refund the payment as I did not take out any policy, you added it on without my knowledge. Please confirm you will refund else I will take legal proceedings

Hi Doug, the agreement shows we wrote to you in July 2015 after a payment was declined. You phoned 8 days later advising there had been an issue with your bank and you were getting a new card, once resolved you'd phone back. The agreement was reinstated with your new card details 5 days later. We had no further communication requesting cancellation until January this year. >>

What reference do I give or do you ick up this email and cross reference it? Cn you not ask them and I give you authority to send it to me as a Curry's PC World employee?

Hi Doug, the original agreement to it was on your receipt and accompanying paperwork given at the point of sale. Additional letters were sent through the Careplan system when it was cancelled and then reinstated with the new card details. If you just email us I'll pick it up. Thanks, Rach
