Complaint against Currys PC World

I bought a washing machine on the 8th of august it stopped working on the 20 of September I called there repair line got told the engineer would be out on the 22nd between 8am and 6pm so I booked the day off then I get a text message stating they won't be out till the 29th I called them again saying that's way to late to wait with a young family I need a washing machine they said the earliest they could come out was the 27th I had to accept this. Then another text saying they won't be out till the 29th called them again to complain got a guy in customer services called Christian who assured me he could sort this out and it won't need to be a complaint told me it would call me back at 4pm guess what the call never came!!! I called them again got told the manufacturer would call me in 24/48 hours that call never came either!!! I wrote a review on another site and currys contacted me by email I got told lies after lies they said an engineer would be out on the 28th got another text saying they want be out till the 4th of October contacted them again they told me to disregard the text and they will be out on the 28th then this morning got a email stating the 4th of October is the earliest date the can come out I have a young family with no washing machine it's shocking the way I am being treated

Hi I am still waiting for Rachel Dixon to call me back I called last Monday got told she would call me bk the same day?? Also still waiting for logic to call me that you told me you had arranged. I've got trading standards involved your customer services is a total joke!!!! Reference number cc3163419


My apologies for the lack of a callback Gordon. Whilst Rachel is not in today I can see they emailed you last week with the following: 'I've just called the repairers to query the dates. She said they book for the first date shown on their system and then the engineers call to confirm the date. She told me although their system showed 28th September, the engineer had actually found they weren't


.. able to attend that day and so have rebooked for their next available date of 4th October. Shes confirmed the visit is booked for 4th October.' I hope this helps. - Marcus

It doesn't help my original date for repair was the 22nd of September I have been without a washing machine since the 20th of September not good enough
