Complaint against Currys PC World
I ordered an oven online for a pick up and then spent longer in the store trying to get the item than I did ordering it and then fitting it. At 2h35 they were" waiting for staff to return from lunch", they said, and yet I had to follow the "store policy" of going upstairs where no-one was available to see me and then when I complained about this was told it is "store policy". And I had to go back upstairs and wait....again. I asked the "manager" how many staff he had on each floor and he said two......? It seems it is store policy to discourage you from buying by making the pick up of items slow and frustrating. The lad from the storeroom was quick and efficient even if the shop assistant downstairs was sarcastic.
