Complaint against Currys PC World

So start of October, I ordered a printer for my business. The printer arrived faulty and so we rang the customer services who advised we needed to go into store to change it. My partner drove 20 minutes to store, only to be told we should have ordered it over the phone and they had none in stock. They ordered us one in and said they would call us in a week. A week came and passed, still had no call. So we rang them asking what had happened and apparently there was no knowledge of where our printer was. After about 45 minutes on the phone, my partner was offered a £10 voucher for the wasted journey (originally we were offered £2.20) and after being accelerated to a manager- we were informed we were getting a refund and this would be in the account in 5 working days. 5 working days came and passed- no refund. Rang up again, only to be told we couldn't get a refund over the phone and would have to go into store. Still no £10 voucher. Was told the request for a refund had bounced back and been refused (but no-one had thought to inform us). We were also told they didn't have these printers anymore and store had made a mistake in ordering us another one. So now we are going the 5 mile journey- there and back to attempt again at getting a refund...........

Thank you for supplying your address details. From checking our case records I note that the voucher was sent to you on the 16th October but can take between 7-10 days to arrive. With regards to the refund, I do apologise for the confusion that has surround the replacement and subsequent refund.
