Unknown monthly debit for Product Support AG

Complaint against Currys PC World

Hi I recently noticed an amount coming off my card in the amount of £2 for something called "Product support AG". On googling this I see that it is Currys debiting me. Being such a small amount I hadn't noticed this in the past but can see it's been coming off the account for months now. How can I find out what it's for as I certainly haven't requested support on any in store purchases. I always decline these offers in store as the manufacturer warranty is more than sufficient for me - something I always tell the sales folk in store.. so this is definitely a mistake. I've written a letter to the bank to see when this debit started as it goes back beyond what I can see on my online bank statements and hence do not know what purchase it relates to and more importantly how much has been removed from my account in total. This is such unscrupulous behaviour and I'm going to do whatever it takes to get the funds reversed as this is most certainly unfair trading. Shocking from a company of this size really.

Thanks for the extra info Claudio. I can see that this payment refers to the product support agreement on your Beko dishwasher. I can either cancel this with immediate effect or leave it place (I only mention the 2nd option as the machine is now outside of its manufactuerer guarantee period and this will cover the dishwasher for any faults or accidental damage). Feel ripped off as specifically told the salesman not to include this insurance. Company not prepared to budge on stance. Will never purchase from Curry's again. Silly way to lose a customer.
