Overcharged again

Complaint against Aldi

For the fifth time in about 18 months I have been overcharged at Aldi. The latest is being charged for an additional bottle of champagne (it has been scanned twice) - and exactly the same thing happened last Christmas - in different Aldi stores. This also happened with other high-worth items, where one item has been scanned twice. I am now beginning to suspect that it is being done on purpose as it has happened so often. As customer service is not Aldi's strong point, when I have spotted this overcharging (I now always check my bill before I head home) a member of staff will rather grudgingly recompense you. Both the frequency of overcharging and the attitude of staff has put me off shopping in Aldi.
