Complaint against Richer Sounds

I am a regular user of richer sounds and have spent a lot of money on HiFi equipment. 2 days ago I purchased a Sony av receiver and not impressed with the sound quality it produces. I asked if I could exchange it for the onkyo as I normally use onkyo amps and prefer the sound quality. I was advised that I would have to pay a handling fee. Total amount to pay would be anothee £69 on top of the £450 I just paid to return it. Not happy with this at all. Now I'm stuck with an amp I am not impressed with as I am not willing to pay a handling fee for something that's is not even days old. Poor poor customer service particularly when I am a regular shopper in the store. Wont be using again

Dear Mr Douglas, Our standard returns policy on unwanted items is as quoted by the store, this is outlined on your receipt card and our website. However the last thing we would want is an unhappy customer so I am surprised the store team didn’t offer a compromise in the circumstances.
