[RESPONDED] Taking money from my very limited money that i have without me knowing!

Complaint against Shopper Discounts and Rewards

I was looking through my bank account and realised there was a direct debit for £10 being taken every month by this company I have only noticed it today on further inspection they have been taking this money out of my account on a monthly basis from the 5th of April 2001!!! I cannot believe this i am an unpaid full time carer | on a very low income (benefits) i have less than £47 a week to live on I am devastated i would never ever sign up for anything as i do not have the money to spare.. I volunteer in a foodbank as this is the only time that i have for myself and to find that someone has taken advantage of me is heartbreaking i want every single penny back there have been times were i haven't been able to have gas because i cant afford it i would NEVER agree to a monthly payment..

Mary as i stated in previous messages i would NEVER sign up for a £10 direct debit to come out of my account for the last five years! I am furious that this has gone on for so long that is a lot of money especially on my very small income i will not reply to yourself as i tried and your inbox would not receive messages and your last message is exactly the same as the previous.. i will not go away

I am totally disgusted this company has taken this money from my account for the last 5years!! with no correspondence no e'mails nothing just slowly chipping away at my account.. i know some people will say how have i not noticed I am a fulltime unpaid carer i honestly never ever noticed it till last night.. how can this happen.. i survive on the such a small amount if money.. this over £600!

So I have replied to Mary (again) will keep giving updates on here till i get all of the money wrongly taken from my account without my knowledge.. How can this happen.. shocked shaken and disappointed.. hopefully this company will see the error of there ways I have never bought anything through this way of shopping.. why would i I did'nt even know it existed.. this is robbery!

well received a reply from Mary today saying that the money will be paid back into my account over the next 10 days.. I do hope this is the case Mary stated that i had never used the facilities provided so would pay back the money fingers crossed.. will keep you posted as and when..

I will keep an eye on my account and hopefully this matter will be totally resolved. Thanks for your help. hello Mary just getting back to you as there have been no more payments made into my account. Can you tell me why this is? and when i can expect to get the rest of the money? I'm starting to get concerned again as it is over a week ago since there was a part payment made. Surely the rest should be paid by now? if you could kindly let me know when to expect all of the money I'd really appreciate it
