Complaint against Argos furniture

Back in June I made a purchase online and used my argos card to pay. The website crashed while the payment was being processed and I bought it twice by mistake. When I got the 2 deliveries I contacted Argos to get the 2nd one collected. I called at least 3 times, they assured me they will come to pick it up and never showed up. Since I had not realized that I had been charged twice I sold the second item on my own. I recently realized of the overcharged and have been trying to get a refund which Argos card refuses to do because they said it the retailer fault.
