Complaint against UK Homemaker

Last year 2015 on month October, an ukhomemaker rep came to my house and I signed up an order for a carpet. We set the weekly payment plan and he said the office would contact me within 2 weeks to set a date for the carpet to be fitted. But weeks went by and no call but the money was being charged to my bank account on a weekly basis. So I suspended the standing order and contacted ukhomemaker and requested for a refund. They denied me the refund even though they admitted that the rep had not put the order in. In my view they can hold me to contract if they provide the service but in this case I was not provided with the service/goods. So I wrote asking for refund and again was denied. They said if I want to go ahead and place a fresh order that would be fine. Recently, month of June 2016, I have decided that I will place a new order for the carpet so I contacted the office and made an appointment with a rep at my house on Thursday 23rd June 2016. I was told the rep would contact me on the day to let me know wether he would come morning or afternoon. On the Thursday after no call from the rep till approximately 1pm I called the office and asked if he was still coming and the person on the phone answered that the rep would come as he finishes his day at 6pm. But to my surprise this rep didn't show up. So today I finally got hold of someone again at the office and when I told them that the rep didn't show the office staff said that he's sorry but they are not doing anymore sales till four weeks time!!!! I said I find their service or lack of it unacceptable and want my money back and he said I can't have it. But I'm waiting for a carpet for 8 months! I don't think this is right at all!
