Curtains guaranteed for Christmas

Complaint against Hillarys Blinds

We paid upfront for curtains two months ago and were told that they would be fitted in time for Christmas. The fitter told us to take down the old pole and fill in the holes beforehand. Two days before they were due to be fitted ( 22nd December) we took down the old pole filled in the holes and painted over them . At 3 o’clock on the day before they were due to be fitted the fitter contacted us and told us he had the curtains but no pole and therefore could not fit the curtains. Neither the fitter nor the alleged customer service department seemed to care that we would have no curtains in our lounge over the Christmas period or that we were having family and babies to come to stay in a room with no curtains in the winter. They refused to fit a temporary pole and when we said we were going to cancel the order it did not seem to bother them. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.
