I have been unable to return an item via a Parcel Shop method because there was no barcode on the returns label for the shop to register the parcel. I have tried unsuccessfully to obtain a new label with a barcode despite numerous internet efforts and telephone calls to the various Damart sites. I have shopped with Damart previously and this is the first time I have had difficulty returning unwanted items - presumably because there has been a barcode on the returns label. It is unreasonable to expect your customers to spend time trying to sort out your errors. I haver still not managed to get a label with a barcode on it so what should I do? Do I have to return the item via the post office and pay an extortionate amount in postage? I have already paid £2.99 to Hermes but was unable to complete the request as I was "timed out".
