Customer services poor communication

Complaint against Ideal World

Today I received a letter from Pastdue a debt collection agency saying Ideal World had appointed them to recover a debt of £36.58 dating from 14th June 2012 over three years ago. My order was on flexipay and for the final payment my bank card had been cancelled for fraudulent use by someone. I telephoned Customer Services in India explaining problem and giving new card details this was not passed on and I was unaware of non payment. Ideal World did not have the courtesy of writing to me to request payment. I would not shop with Ideal World again. Very disturbing to have a debt collection requesting payment in seven days without any warning. I think Ideal Worlds big problem is having customer services in India. Qvc have local call centre which knocks spots off Ideal World.
