Complaint against SWI Schoolwear
My order was placed weeks in advance for a school blazer for Cecil Jones Academy in Southend-On-Sea. The uniform cannot be purchased anywhere else and is vastly overpriced. On 30th August, 5 days before the start of term, it had still not arrived even though I had paid and received a confirmation that it would be delivered within 5 days. I called customer services who said they had issues with the mail company and would not send my order until they had received the previous package back from the mail. I explained it was needed for the following Monday and could they please send one by 24 hour post to which they replied that it was not company policy and they would not help in any other way than to refund my £4 delivery fee. My son has gone to school without it. I have later discovered I've been charged £16.04 for the ten minute conversation with their customer services.
