Complaint against SWI Schoolwear
My daughter is expected to leave her home by 7.20am next week to start her first day ever at a new school. I duly ordered her uniform from SWI 16 August and received an acknowledgement email that says items in STOCK "UP to 10 working days". My whole order was showing at least 50 of each piece of clothing in stock when I placed it so there was no reason to panic. Chased delivery on 30 August and was on hold for 18 minutes , a man answered and then asked me to "hold on" some more while he checked the order. The bad news was it had not been picked yet and the good news was it should be with me "in a few days". He commented that my order was late, it was "last minute" and how they were working to get all the other "last minute" orders out. I decided to send an email complaint to the Customer Service Manager. I got a reply today from an Advisor stating that the deadline for ordering was 5 August and that it was down to the school to advise parents. That in my opinion is so lousy. The worst bit is the delivery will not be on time, in fact they could not tell me when, just whenever. A few parents who have ordered uniforms for other schools are yet to receive their items or did get them but the fit was wrong so they have to return them then re-order. Let us hope they are not having to use the same lousy suppliers.
