Complaint against Kiddicare

EM NOT ARRIVED AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I ordered a nursing chair yesterday and paid the extra £9.95 for sat (today) delivery. I have stayed in all day (delivery times are between 7am and 8pm) and had nothing. Before the offices closed at 5pm I called to check that my chair would be here today. I was sent no dispatch email (even though my order confirmation said I would receive a text or phone call) the advisor said it was out for delivery but she would double check with the courier and forward me the tracking info. I heard nothing back so had to phone again (before they shut at 5pm) this advisor just offered me My delivery cost back and said sorry. She couldn’t tell me when it would be delivered or even if it was coming today. Eventually I got quite stern and asked her to call UK Mail while I waited to find out where it was. She did, I was then told UK Mail only received the chair this morning so it was Out for delivery Monday. Really not acceptable. I am at work full time and can’t take delivery during the week. I had no correspondence from anyone to let me know it wouldn’t be delivered so I have sat in all day waiting. I was then told that a neighbour could take delivery (of a big leather nursing chair) and somehow at 35 weeks pregnant I’m supposed to get it indoors, and expect a neighbour to sit in and wait all day. But it’s ok because all I kept getting told is that she would refund my delivery (I don’t give a stuff about the £10 right now) I have a chair that I now can’t take delivery of as I work full time, and I am not around next sat to waste another day waiting, it is out for delivery Monday to my home address but I will be at work. It can’t be re routed to another address either because UK Mail are shut until Monday. I had to ask that someone called me to update me on Monday as the advisor didn’t even offer to keep me updated. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have chronic bad back which is why I bought the chair following the amazing reviews but this has just left me feeling annoyed and fobbed off. I will NEVER be buying from or recommending Kiddicare to anyone again
