Failed to replace warrantied item in five months

I contacted Light Up UK in June 2016, as requested by Megaman UK, to replace two bulbs that developed a fault with in the three year warranty period. Megaman didn't honour the warranty, saying that it was the retailed (Light Up UK) who should do so. After months of repeatedly emailing Light Up UK, I could see that they were being evasive, and didn't seem to want to send me the replacement bulbs. I had originally asked to get them sent in advance of me returning my old bulbs (to save holes in the ceiling), but when the replacements weren't forthcoming I returned the faulty bulbs. Light Up UK acknowledged receiving my faulty bulbs, and said they had sent out replacements. Needless to say, nothing arrived. They were obviously struggling as a company, and their website is now offline. I am upset that they strung me along for five months, and hopefully Megaman UK will have a change of heart about honouring the warranty.
