Still awaiting refund for goods that never arrived...
Complaint against Light Up UK
I ordered 10 Bakelite style light switches back on 6th May (£179) Payment was taken immediately but 10 days passed and no goods arrived. I contacted them and somebody replied (20th May) the following working day apologising that the items were out of stock and would I mind waiting? I said OK and waited. After another few weeks I contacted them again (13th June) Stock was still the problem. This time, I opted to cancel the order as, by now, more than 30 days had passed since it was placed and the opportunity to fit them had now also passed. They assured me that I would receive a refund (15th June) According to people's reviews about the company in May, there had been no problems with refunds following long waits for out of stock goods. I still have received no refund or contact as of 26th July.
