Complaint against Bedroom World
On the 18th of June I ordered this bed frame and a mattress as a present for my sister. She works in a hospital and booked the delivery date off work so that she could be at home. The bed frame arrived but the mattress failed to arrive, we then find out that separate couriers were used for the two products, and that a quality issue had been identified with the mattress so it hadn't been delivered. We accept that sometimes this happens, what was appalling was that complete lack of communication between Bedroom World and their own couriers. It took 2weeks for Bedroom World to recognise that the mattress had not been delivered, another 2 weeks to arrange a delivery for a Saturday when their courier didn't deliver on Saturdays before a random delivery when luckily my sister was in. I spent hours on the phone, never spoke to the same person twice and it took a month to receive my full order. Individually the call centre staff were friendly but the company processes seem to completely prevent them being helpful. I kept being told to mediate between them and their courier because they were not allowed to pick up the phone.
