Unfortunately our experience of Carpetright has not been positive. After explaining our needs, we were advised that Lino would be appropriate to use in the kitchen, with pets and heavy footfall. We were also told by the surveyor who came to quote us for the job that the cost would include ripping up the existing flooring. This was not the case and we had to screed over the existing flooring and cut down all our kickboards. In less than a year our Lino has ripped, dented and scratched. It is looking dreadful. The manager of the branch was brusk and unhelpful, saying there was no issue with the product or fitting and offered no after sales care or support. He also said it was our fault the Lino ripped and accused us of either wearing high heals or dragging something heavy over it. I pointed out that the Lino wasn't adhered to the screed and when we wheeled our empty suitcase over it, it gathered and ripped. There was no help after this visit, so I made a complaint and no-one escalated it or took it further. They closed my case, leaving me with ruined flooring.
