Goods not available despite being sent enhanced bonus coupons! Both myself and my wife.

Complaint against Sainsbury\u0027s

After calling into the Bitterne Southampton branch for ten days in a row seeking to purchase both packeted kippers and river cobbler fish and being told most days that it would be in the next day, no fish was available despite both normally being regular lines. Coupons ran out on the 05.12.15 and was told when enquiring at customer relations that both items had been discontinued. We also had a voucher for extra points if we spent £20.00 + before the 07.12.15. It was our intention to spend out on these regular purchases plus other bits and pieces. After the attitude of the supervisor and constantly wasting our time with many trips to the shop and being told that the items would be in the next day I walked out in disgust! What is the point of targeting us with specific offers for goods that we always purchase if they have been discontinued? Up until now we have been regular customers of Sainsburys, but it looks as if a trip or two to Asda is now on the cards for kippers etc. The least we expect is an apology from Sainsburys if we are ever to return!

22/12/15 AND STILL NO AKNOWLEDGMENT OF COMPLAINT, OR ANY SORT OF APOLOGY! I AM DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED WITH SAINSBURY'S ATTITUDE AND LACK OF RESPONSE OF ANY KIND! WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE?
