Complaint against Sainsbury\u0027s

Having not shopped on line with Sainsburys for nearly a year after we had all our bank details cloned and money stolen from our bank account, my wife decided that we would give it another go. We have been shopping at tesco's but find sainsburys seems to have better quality food overall, so we decided to look at trying shopping on line again, we placed our first order after nearly a year with them, only to be told we weren't entitled to a £20 off offer for new customers, well having not shopped here for nearly a year i would have thought we would have been classed as a new customers. We have used the old number to place our order and appreciate had we registered then we would have been truly classed as a new customer but i am too honest to do that, however now looking back i feel i should have to obtain the offer....a bit of common sense here would be very much appreciated or should i just ring up again and re register .....if this is the case I think the world.has gone mad..............
