Induction loops in local stores

Complaint against Sainsbury\u0027s

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 2010 I visit Sainsbury local stores several time a week. Even though they offer induction loop for are deft I fine that most devices are turned OFF in these stores. Today my experience in your Carlton Street, Nottingham led me to my a complaint. Being deft and wearing hearing aids, I turn my hearing aids on my loop setting and realised that the induction was turned off. When I got to the check out I said to the cashier that the induction loop was turn off. She did not know what I was talking about and I pointed out the loop system sign. She didn't no what to do..... I 'am so pleased she didn't she did not suffer from deftness. Would you please ensure that your Managers' are how aware that this is so IMPORTANT to deft people and your staff are fully trained on how to activate the system for disabled people like myself. Kinds Regards Jeff
