Online Shopping: Complaints rise by 84%
Online shoppers are being let down more than ever, if the sheer volume of complaints are anything to go by.
The number of complaints rose by a staggering 84% in 2018-19 compared to the year before.
Complaints about online shopping rose from 58,976 to 108,315, with typical problems including issues with deliveries, poor product quality and refunds.
It's simple, isn't it? Customer orders a product. Product is delivered...apparently not. Apparently some online firms are very good at receiving an order and taking payment, but they find the delivery bit quite challenging.
It's like they've never quite heard the full chorus of that Stevie Wonder song...
