[RESPONDED] Continued withdrawal of subscription fees when POF account has been closed

I closed my account on the above dating site and the Venntro Media Group have continued to deduct $59.95 from my bank account. Yes, POF dating site is carrying on like the jilted lover, or should I say its parent company is. Now, it seems that when you delete your account, that account cannot be re-instated and is permanently deleted.However, according to POF -"Sometimes even after following above-mentioned procedure, your account will not be deleted. Well, in that case, there is nothing you can do except sending mail, making a humble request to delete your account, to customer care service of POF via mailing id [email protected] Once you delete Plenty of fish account, all your data will be lost and you can’t recover it later. So think it through before deactivating permanently." So this is what must of happened to me, after going through the procedure the first time, it didn't delete but I wasn't receiving mail or matches as i normally would if the POF account was opened. Mysterious, NON???!!! Oui, very mysterious indeed. So I make a 'humble request' to the Parent company and the jilted POF to be an adult about our break up, and return what isn't yours without slashing the goods. I'd recommend you request that accounts go back to when I initially cancelled my subscription and refund the total amount upto and including the last withdrawal. Being the responsible corporate identity you make yourself out to be, that should be very easy. Kind regards

Hi Katie, thanks for getting back to me. I had assumed, obviously wrongly, that it was POF. But the fact of the matter is the entity deducting $59.95 from my bank account is Venntro. Next to the deduction is the name Venntro Media Group. Deductions started the 31/05/16 till now except for Feb 2017 where nothing was deducted. Total is AUS$1318.90.
