Complaint against Venntro
I joined Widows dating online covered by Venntro for a one month trial believing that to be exactly what I was paying for. As a widow of two years finance is a big issue for me and had I joined for longer it would have been cheaper. At the end of the month I tried to cancel but as it was the weekend I was unable to but the company took a second payment without my approval. This was made worse because contacting this company is impossible there is no telephone number the number that the bank found for me was no longer in use and there was no email address. In reply I have been told that I am not getting a refund as they are covered by terms and conditions which I find dishonest in the extreme. People who use a site like this are bereaved and vulnerable so behaving in this way is despicable. I want to warn others that this company deal in sharp practise and that they are not part of any body of dating sites they have no telephone number so dealing with complaints is next to impossible.
