Complaint against The Phone Spot

I phoned to resolve an issue. The phone spot cold called my elderly father claiming to be from o2 and it would appear that they set up an account. He already has a mobile phone contract that he is happy with and as I am well within the 14 day cancellation period, I called to do just that. I spoke to customer services. They said that they couldn't help me and would transfer me to the relevant department. 2 minutes later I arrived and as luck would have it, it was the person I spoke to in the first instance. I made her aware that she had not successfully transferred me and she tried again, assuring me that the wait would be short because the transfer was taking place to a department with low call volume. I spent the next 40 minutes on hold. Upon finally getting through to the correct department, I was asked to go through security. I stated that I was happy to do this on my father's behalf. The 'adviser' on the other end of the phone then hung up on me. This is not a professional company in any sense. The customer service is abhorrent.
