Complaint against The Phone Spot

I received a phone call advising I was due an upgrade. I am happy with my current phone so told them I would be looking at a SIM only contract. The caller said now that I own my phone he could reduce my monthly bill which made sense I suppose. Still a bit dubious and I asked lots of questions which he answered I agreed to the New reduction amount. Now I've received a text saying my eligible order is in 14 days and they'll let me know when it's dispatched. God only knows what they are dispatching. Interestingly the number displayed was a local number making it look like they were to ringing from my local carphone warehouse....interested to find out what they are dispatching! This has put me on edge now.

I received a new sim, however I didn't put it in my phone. My original SIM carried on working no problem and my bill has reduced so after initial panic I'm now on a cheaper bill. I do think I could still get my SIM only contract cheaper so will see what happens when I want to leave as I was advised that I was only on a monthly rolling contract and could cancel at any time.
