Complaint against The Phone Spot
This company called me and lead me to believe they were o2. Based on this they then mis-sold me w phone tariff upgrade for a far worse deal than offered by o2 directly. On realisation they I had been mislead I attempted to cancel (in less than a week) they made the whole process incredibly difficult and left me in a position where I was unable to upgrade directly through o2, losing out on a special deal including over £200 of free gifts including a Samsung smart watch. I’m now unable to upgrade until they cancel at there end, countless phone calls, emails and what seems like an age on hold and they still continue to lie and say they’ve cancelled. The attendants in both the o2 shop and Carphone warehouse both showed me on the system they used that the upgrade had not been cancelled. The customer care team are a joke, I’ve lost out on time, money and goods due to the dishonesty of the sales team. Avoid this company at all costs. They use deceit and misdirection to sell a product less valuable than on offer elsewhere. Following the way this company operates I will also be seeking legal advice with regards to lost time and financial gain also on the legality of the deception and lies fed to me from both sales and customer care.
