[RESPONDED] Unacceptable sales pitch - near mis-sell of contract

Complaint against The Phone Spot

Have just received another phone call from The Phone Spot regarding my 02 contract that is due to expire. After advising the gentleman that I haven't decided what I my next course of action would be he advised that was fine and I would be moved onto a 30 day rolling contract where the cost of my handset would be removed. FIRST red flag...when my contract expires I have paid for the hand set so there aren't any costs to remove. I questioned this and he increased the speed of his speech (I asked him on a number of occasions to slow down as I couldn't keep up with what he was saying) SECOND red flag...if this had been an elderly person / someone who doesn't speak English as a first language / someone who is hard of hearing...would be impossible to understand clearly what he was selling. He continued to advise that I would be on a rolling 30 day contract, no ties however THIRD red flag...I couldn't change my phone / contract for 90 days (there were other restrictions). I questioned this part twice as he first time he didn't answer, second time he said he didn't know why "it is just the process". When I advised that I didn't want any changes to my account due to the restrictions imposed he swiftly cut me off. FOURTH red flag...left me with an uneasy feeling that due to the rattling of speed he spoke, glossing over of restrictions and unclear explanations to my questions, if I hadn't asked the questions I would have found myself with a contract I didn't want to enter and unclear recourse as to exactly who / which company I was dealing with. The Phone Spot, feel free to pull the tape on my conversation with your employee...this form of selling is quite frankly unacceptable.

Thank you for your comment Chris however I don't have a problem with my order, I had a problem how your sales team were trying to sell a contract to me I didn't want to enter and how they approached the sell.
