I cancelled my Virgin account on the 16th December 2015, and on the 24th of December the company contacted me offering a lower rate package which I accepted but then cancelled within the 14 day cancellation period; I did this over the phone and was told that it was cancelled at that moment and I was to await a phone call from someone from Virgin Media to discuss what I was to do with the no longer needed equipment, I did not receive said phonecall. Virgin has continued to send me bills and letters of urgency to pay for this service which I had been told had been cancelled but upon further telephone conversations they are now saying this is incorrect and they have no record of the prior conversation. They have now passed my information on to a debt collecting agency.
