Misled into thinking a 12 month deal then stung for about £30 a month more than I was already paying
Complaint against Virgin Media
I wanted to cancel my broadband. I was called by a mobile number promising a good deal £18 for twelve months I was under the impression it could be cancelled after 12 months. The contract may have been sent but I do not have a recollection of recieving it. Around 12 months after the contract was restarted Virgin called me to sell me more services I told Sam I wanted to cancel I was under the impression the contract was cancelled Sam did not tell me she could not cancel. After I recieved a further bill I phoned Virgin Media to query and was told the contract was for 18 months not the 12 I was led to believe. No problem I can prove what I was told Virgin can go back to the original phone call. NO Virgin tie you into a contract THEN they delete the recordings. I did not want to stay with Virgin I was persuaded by a good deal and mislead on the length of the contract. I have lost all trust in Virgin Media.
