Complaint against Virgin Media
I am being asked to pay for a service I have not had. I rang on the 6th of August to say that i wanted to end my yearly contract on Sept 9th 2016. Person I spoke to said he would do that. I explained I would allow the August payment to go through and then cancel my DD.He agreed that was OK. I also wrote a letter. Some three weeks ago I received a letter saying I owed them for the Sept 12 payment plus fee for late payment of £10. Also for £51 for October in total £104.30. I then rang to say that I had cancelled my contract by phone and letter. They said there was no record of my phone call or letter. As Sky engineer install their TV on the 22nd and BT my phoneon 26th of august 2016 how can I owe them monies for Sept and Oct. I have to rectify this matter by writing a recorded letter and several times to an recorded voice but cannot get through to Executive Director Customer Care but cannot be connected. I am 81 yrs old and can do without all this hassel.
