I took up two Samsung tablets for me and my wife which got delivered on the 22th of January 2018.My wife on used hers for less than 3 days accessing the internet and using google map .She accessed mostly her university coursework on there .In two days she received a messages to say she was nearing her limit and the internet stopped. To her surprise after every regular intervals the balance was increasing despite the internet not working .She received a message to say bill has increased to £13 after 20minutes it had gone to £19.50 in 3 hours the last message she received on the device at 1727 on the 24th of January 2018 was that the bill was now at £26.Much to our surprise the internet had completely stopped working. We are now in a big shock to receive a bill of £217.81 yet the internet wasn’t working from the first messages also the last message that came through on the device was that the bill was now at £26. We do not understand how mobile data can get to that amount when it wasn’t working and also we only last received a message regarding £26.We feel so cheated by Vodafone and are considering taking the issue further and to the press as we have not been able to get any help from customer service .This is a complete rip off of customers it’s sad enough for some of us who are really struggling financially to be given such distress .It has caused a lot of tension, emotional and financial stress.
