[RESPONDED] Vodafone's shady account closure practice

Complaint against Vodafone

No notification via email or mail of late charges applied with interest added, no access to closed account, chat option useless. Intervention via Credit Expert. 90 days later account settled. Beware: numerous ex-Vodafone customers have tales of woe due to the company's inability to communicate with customers and restrictive access to billing systems. I am relieved to have taken my mobile business elsewhere and a huge thank you to BBC R4 You & Yours consumer programme to alerting me to the problem of Vodafone's dubious practice, in my opinion, of applying interest to closed accounts without informing customers.

My complaint along with 1000s of others has been recorded on this website and registered with others. The distress and anxiety and severe disruption Vodafone causes is inexcusable. I don't want to revisit my personal issue any longer, it consumed my life for too long. Over and out.
