Complaint against Sky

On 14/7 I rang Sky to cancel my contract. I was told it would be cancelled from 14/8 as it was too late to cancel the payment due on 15/7. My Sky viewing card was immediately cancelled and has not worked since. The full payment of £108 was still taken on 15/7. I rang on 15/7 and was told that a new card would be sent and that compensation for the days without viewing would be issued. I rang again on 18/7 as the card had not arrived. To be told that no card had been issued and there was no record of anything on their system. The operator advised that a reboot would be sent to the card overnight and that she would ring at 2pm today. Guess what? She also lied and nothing has changed. The payment on 15/7 has been taken and no services provided up to 13/8 as the contract States. Consequently all contracts with Sky have been broken by them. We have asked for a refund. It all operators appear to not have a clue what they are doing and are only instructed to lie to get you off the phone. I have tried to speak with a manger but apparently they don't exist at Sky. This may be part of their problem, perhaps having someone in charge may improve customer service. As a payment of £108 has been taken without authorisation this will cover my broadband bill for a few months so my direct debit has been cancelled and maybe this will prompt Sky to ring as they promise do. But then again probably not as they are they are the most inept and crooked company I have dealt with.

Hi sorry but I have rung 4 times and got through to staff who do not know anything or have a manger. I need to be able to speak to a manager who actually knows what they are doing please. Regards Geoff
