Complaint against Reliance
Hi, I bought a new smartphone in the month of May in which 3 months of free internet was available. I last used the net on 2nd August. I then called up customer care on the 21st August wanting for a corporate mobile net connection. I spoke to one customer care representative (I have mentioned his name in the complaint sent to Reliance) and I was told that I can continue using the existing free connection till the 8th of September, and to call back by 8th September for corporate connection. Hence I started using the phone net. After a few days I received a message from Reliance for payment. I called up the customer care and narrated the incident. HOWEVER RELIANCE, WITHOUT MY AUTHORISATION, CREATED A NEW ECS ACCOUNT (One I already had for the phone bills) AND DEBITED 5553.00 FROM MY SBI ACCOUNT. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DISGUSTING.
