Being charged for line rental but received no service

Complaint against BT

BT provides you with an online fault reporting system. I have been trying to report a fault with my phone line since 15th December. I finally get through to BT on 29th December who tell me that they can only acknowledge the fault as of today as it was not reported before. It is not my fault it was not reported before, their system clearly does not work. I am being charged for line rental even though there was no line rental provided for 14 days.
