Complaint against BT

On the 18 th November 2015 I placed an order with BT.com this service was not activated till the 15th December 2015 which on this date I received the BT equipment. On the 17th December 2015 I phoned BT as I was not happy with the BT TV package and that I wished to cancel it. I was then informed that my cooling off period had expired they explained that it was from the day you placed the order 18 th November 2015 till the 3rd of December 2015 I explained to them that my service had not started till the 15 th December and that the equipment had not been delivered till the 15th December they said that is the cooling period and that I have to run with contract I cannot understand how you can have a cooling period on a service that had not been provided.
