So you wait 5 hours and you get a no show

Complaint against BT

OK. When do employees need to notify their company if they wont be in to work that day? Seems like ( according to my telephone conversation ) there is no rush with BT. Any company I have developed policies for, require you to phone in as soon as possible. Simply so the work schedule for that day can be re-organised so customers are still looked after. I was told by BT that an engineer was booked between 0800 and 1300. Decided to call them at 1240 and was told the engineer had just phoned in 10 minutes earlier (12.30). Don't believe them. I'm also expected to believe that this engineer is the only one in my area. Aberdeen. NOT
