Complaint against TalkTalk

i left talktalk at the end of october because of bad after sales service im 72 years old living on my own having had a stroke in april they left me with out a phone connection for two weeks as it took that time to get hold of them to report the problem they have now send me a 289.39 bill for leaving them i just would like to know if there is anything i can do about the outrages charge
