Lost or stolen phone

Complaint against TalkTalk

Hello when I bought a mobile on contract with TALK TALK, I read the contract details and it states if your phone is lost or stolen they will replace it. When I rang them they told me they couldn'tdo anything about it other than send me a new sim. What use is a sim with no phone. Thank you. Annie.

Hi Annie, Did you purchase the phone via our website? we don't offer insurance so we wouldn't replace the phone if it is lost or stolen. Did you have insurance with a third party? Thanks Vicky

It was in the contract so no third part. It said in the contract if your phone is lost or stolen they will happily send me a new one, but when it came to it they said there was nothing they could do. Very poor customer service on the phone calling me thick and fat and a slag. So im very unhappy and i will never be getting another contract with talktalk and i will be telling everyone i no not to.
