[LAPSED] Not my fault but I have to pay £488

Complaint against TalkTalk

No service from talktalk for nealy 7 weeks. Numerous phonecalls but no attempt on talktalk's part ot put my problem right. Finally I had enough and told Talktalk I was leaving and why. Received a "Sorry to see you go" letter. On the back, out of sight, was a note telling me it would cost me £488 to leave because I was still in contract. I poiinted out that Talktalk had broken the contract bu not resolving its problem with my service. Contracts work both ways.
