Booked holiday 03/08/14 for travel 27/07/15 always book in advance and have been loyal to Thomas Cook Group for over 10 years running,Early November found out my wife had fallen pregnant, Contacted Thomas Cook 03/11/15 to advise of situation as new arrival due early June 2015 and we would have to postpone holiday.I was told I would lose the £800 pounds I had already paid them without a hint of a refund or alternative date.I would have been happy with a credit note or voucher to travel in 2016 but I was told refer to terms and conditions meaning you lose £800 if you cancel.I had no choice but to cancel due to age of new arrival.
