BE WARNED - SPABREAKS.COM

Complaint against spabreaks.com

BE WARNED - SPA BREAKS.COM . My 16 year old daughter purchased a 'Spa day for 2' voucher for Mother's Day last year. It cost her a month of saving money earned from her Saturday job. When she gave it to Mum she assumed that the voucher was valid for a year. However, when I tried to redeem it for her, I was told by SPABREAKS.COM that it was vaild for only 10 months (not 12) and therefore, had expired by 5 weeks. They said that there was nothing they could do. I explained that my wife had not been able to use the voucher, due to her nursing her own mother who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer early last year. Unfortunately, she died died later in the year, leaving my wife devastated. Spabreaks.com flatly refuse to extend the voucher or allow us to redeem the value against buying another one. I asked to speak to the manager, who was supposed to call me back, but never did. I tried several times to speak to customer services department and eventually I contacted them via email. They refused to make any allowance. Their inflexible stance, has left both my daughter and my wife extremely dissapionted and upset. Therefore, I have no hesitation in recommending that you avoid dealing with this company. It has zero interest in satisfying its customers. I wish I could give them a zero rating to truly reflect their lack of flexibility and compassion and my family and friends will never book with them again. You will see there are many other dissatisfied customers - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
