Opodo not forwarding my baggage payment to Ryanair
Complaint against Opodo
My booking confirmation from Ryanair states no baggage, yet I have paid for it. Opodo Customer Services first said that they wanted a screenshot sending to them of my booking, to prove that I had paid. I refused, because surely Opodo have a record of the original booking email. They then admitted I had paid for baggage, but an error had been made by not notifying Ryanair. I was asked to pay Ryanair direct, then claim a refund fom Opodo. Again I refused because my flight is not until September and surely Opodo can forward my money to Ryanair by then. I was assured the booking would be sorted within 72 hours. Nothing happened. I was then assured the booking would be sorted within 48 hours. Once again, nothing. This has all taken numerous emails and phone calls and it is disgraceful. In effect Opodo has stolen money from me! I see now this has been a long standing issue with Opodo. Wish I'd looked at all the bad reviews before booking with them!
