Nearly two months later and no refund as promised

Complaint against eDreams

I mistakenly booked a flight via edreams in early April and, as soon as phone lines were open, called to cancel the flight. One of the flights with Vueling was fully refunded as promised. However, the other flight, with British Airways, totalling approx £120, was due an airline charge for the cancellation. The service representative said it would be 'easier' to take an additional £50 from my account then refund the full £120, rather than refunding £70. I only received £40 of this. When I called them to say it had not come through they said that it could take up to three weeks for the full amount, for me not to worry, only to call back if not refunded by the end of three weeks. When I called them once this time was up they then said that there was another charge of £40 for THEIR candellation fees - this was NOT mentioned to me and even so, it does not add up to the amount deducted, given that I received £80 less than the designated £120 and have still had £50 taken from me. They then agreed to refund the full total, as confirmed by an email, stating it would take 7-10 working days for it to appear in my account. 10 working days later and still no refund. This is totally absurd, daylight robbery, its been two months and I'm still not fully repaid.
